Academic Promotion Plan (2022-23) of the Department of Social Sciences - Social Sciences for the Globalised and Digital World
The Department of Social Sciences is delighted to share the Academic Promotion Plan for the Academic Year 2022-23. The plan includes an introduction on undergraduate programmes, and a series of distinguished lectures deliver by a pool of speakers from home and abroad and are representing top-notch academia, multinational corporations, and agencies.
The Department of Social Sciences is currently offering two distinctive but mutually connected major programmes, namely: Globalization and Development (GAD), and Digital Social Science (DGS). The GAD Programme delves into affairs ranging from geo-political, socio-economic and environment whereas the newly launched DGS Programme initiates the application of digital skill in multiple socio-cultural domain and academic disciplines including anthropology, cultural studies, and sociology.
As Part of this mission a Kickoff Meeting of the Promotion Scheme is scheduled to familiarize students from all cohorts, and especially targeted to Year 1 on GAD and DGS Programmes.
