Abstract
This study will present college students’ perception of risks, self-efficacy, and preventive behavioral responses in Los Angeles, the city with one of the highest rates of COVID-19 infections during the early phase of the pandemic. Effects of the disruption of the pandemic to students' learning due to the abrupt movement to remote instruction mid-semester, coping with trust from conflicting public health guidelines from federal and local governments regarding a novel virus, residential displacement, food and basic needs insecurity, and related stressors to mental health will be discussed.
Thank you for your attention and see you at the lecture.
