Announcement of the 79th High Table Dinner
High Table Dinner is a practice in line with UIC’s Liberal Arts spirit, Whole Person Education and Four Point Philosophy. The 79th high table dinner will open 150 spaces for DHSS Year 4 students. All applicants can find registration rules on the high table dinner home page.
Online registration is available at http://mis.uic.edu.cn from 17:00 on 12 April 2016 to 23:55 on 14 April 2016. First come first served.
All the successfully registered students will receive an automatic reply email from MIS email.
The seating plan will be sent by HTD email before 17:00, 26 April 2016.
Please note that the students who attend the High Table Diner are required to attend the training session from 18:30 to 20:00 at B201 on 22 April 2016. If you are absent from the training session, you will be disqualified to attend the Dinner. Please check your timetable before registration.

About the Guest Speaker:
Mr. Stephen How Boa YAU, the Chief Executive of International Social Service Hong Kong Branch (ISS-HK) and International Social Service Regional Coordinator (Asia & Pacific), was educated in China, Hong Kong and the United States of America. He has a Bachelor and Master Degree in Law, a Master Degree in Social Work and a Diploma in Executive Management.
He has been working in the field of social work and social work education for more than 30 years. Mr Yau serves on various government committees and boards, including the Liquor Licensing Board (Chairman), Town Planning Board (Member), Wofoo Social Enterprises (Chairman), Institute of Social Service Development (Chairman), Hong Kong Football Association Ltd (Director), Social Work Advisory Committee of Hong Kong Baptist University (Chairman) and Advisory Committee of Centre for Social Management Research and Service of United International College, etc.
Mr YAU has been a Justice of the Peace since 1997. He was awarded the Hong Kong Baha’i Award for Service to Humanity by the Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’i of Hong Kong in 1997, the Medal of Honour, the Bronze Bauhinia Star and the Sliver Bauhinia Star by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2001, 2006 and 2013 respectively, and the Honorary University Fellowship by the Hong Kong Baptist University in 2008.
