Elsewhere
Elsewhere is a magazine produced by students from English for Professional Communication Concentration.
We collect outstanding literary and photography works from uicers every year,
providing a platform for students who have a passion for literature to share and communicate with peers.
After a semester’s delay,
Issue 5 is eventually going to meet with U!
Issue 5—Breaking Through
The theme of this issue is "Breakthrough",
which was also our most sincere and urgent hope
during the creation of this issue a year ago in the midst of the pandemic.
We call for freedom and long to break free from our constraints,
filled with an infinite longing for a world full of flowers.
And so, Elsewhere Issue 5 was born,
with each word and line expressing our suppression and confusion,
yet still holding onto hope after experiencing countless trials.
As we enter 2023,
we are on the cusp of breaking through the clouds and achieving the long-sought "breakthrough".
We sincerely hope that while reading this issue, you can find answers to all your questions; even amidst the raging storms, there will eventually be a rainbow awaiting you.
