China and Scotland: Literature and Translation - 7th December, 2024
| This event brings together Chinese and international experts in literary and cultural history for a conference that focuses on literary encounters between China and Scotland, as represented in poetry, fiction, drama and translation. It showcases the work of translators and publishers in bringing the literatures of Scotland to China, and explores the image of China in literary work produced by Scottish writers and translators, over the past century and a half.
