The Institute of Cross-cultural Studies and the Centre for Foreign Languages and Cultures co-hosted an invited talk by Professor Martin Puchner, the Byron and Anita Wien Professor of Drama and English and Comparative Literature, Harvard University on April 17th 2024. The talk was titled 'Story Telling and Climate Change'. During the talk, Professor Puchner drew on millennia of world literature to draw vital lessons about how we got to our present moment. He considered what novel stories must be told about our relationship with the earth if we are to avoid climate catastrophe.
