The reason why I chose to study Journalism is because I think it is a useful subject. By writing news articles I can not only spread in-time information but also reveal some truth to readers. I believe this is why most students choose this subject.

UIC's international news is very practical, The courses such as Photojournalism, Broadcast journalism, Foundation of news writing and reporting, Advanced news writing and Reporting and Editing lab, etc., have greatly improved students' ability of news reporting and made them a qualified media worker who can write, shoot and design. The school also offers good theoretical courses, such as Communication Theory, Mass Media Research Method, etc., which lay a foundation for students' media research.

I miss my time studying at International Journalism at UIC greatly, and I sincerely thank many teachers for their cultivation of me. I hope that I can become a qualified journalist who can create more value for society in the future.
