The GAD Programme is delighted to announce the imminent launch of the book entitled “COVID-19 Pandemic, Crisis Responses and the Changing World”, edited by Prof. Simon Zhao, GAD Professor and Associate Dean for Research of DHSS, and by Dr. Edoardo Monaco, Associate Professor and Director of GAD, together with three more DHSS colleagues.

Notably, two of the programme’s own students - Mr. Zhang Zhen and Mr. Gong Zekai - also actively contributed to the project as research assistants.

This timely publication – which includes contributions from a wide range of experts, including GAD’s Dr. Michal Vavrik - comprehensively analyzes COVID-19 and its impact, capturing diverse and authoritative perspectives on the political, economic, and socio-cultural inferences—as well as drivers—of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
