UIC's teaching mode of using English as the medium of instruction and its similar teaching style to that of the universities in Hong Kong enabled me to settle into my studies at KCL very smoothly. For instance, the rich FE courses at UIC and the in-depth lectures by the teachers of various courses at IJ broadened my knowledge and developed my critical thinking skill. Although my postgraduate major was not in journalism, the knowledge and skills I learned at IJ in journalism writing, editing, and interviewing were like cornerstones that helped me in writing my essays and communicating with my teachers and classmates. I am very grateful to all my teachers and classmates for their help during my time at IJ.
