LECTURE丨Gao Yuan, An Excellent Graduate of PRA, Leading You to Media Planning in the Real World

On March 16, 2017, PRA graduate of 2008 grade of UIC was invited by PRA Faculty to share his five-year working experience and a large number of real cases with PRA students, opening a new door for students to understand the real world of media planning.

"The role of an advertiser is actually a buffer and hub between customers and the media." In Yuan Gao’s understanding, customers must have a lot of fanciful ideas. The advertisers’ job is to turn these fanciful ideas into realistic, feasible and effective planning strategies, and communicate well with the media to implement these strategies.

Gao Yuan also talked about the difference between China's advertising industry and foreign advertising industry. "The excellent advertising content we learn from textbooks is very good. Advertisers spend a lot of money on the creation of advertising content, but China's environment is different. In advertising in China, more money is invested in the media. The budget for advertising is compressed.” Although the current environment of China's advertising industry is slightly different from that of foreign countries, he also believes that the domestic advertising industry will develop in a healthier and more reasonable direction.
