On April 29, 2016, nearly 20 teachers and students of grade 2013 of PRA Faculty visited Greenpeace and Lane Crawford stores in an orderly way in Hong Kong.
First Stop: Hong Kong Greenpeace Organization
Members of Greenpeace first took the students to visit their working environment and showed them how to apply environmental protection to office environment and daily work. Then, two members of Greenpeace respectively showed the students how to grasp the hot spots of current affairs, plan and organize media itinerary efficiently and comprehensively, and open up environmental protection issues in the society. Also, they showed how to create a media window, create discussion hot spots through the cooperation of multi-media channels, and cause public discussion and attention. In the process of sharing, the students take notes seriously, think actively, think divergently, put forward many original questions, and trigger a round of intense interaction and discussion.
Second Stop: Lane Crawford Store
Under the leadership of Vickie, a member of Lane Crawford's PR team, PRA teachers and students were invited to the world's leading Lane Crawford Store. During the visiting, Vickie patiently and carefully explained how Lane Crawford combined PR planning and communication skills with store settings, customer experience and brand marketing. Under the theme of "light luxury", "fashion" and "lifestyle", how public relations play a crucial role in shaping the brand image brought students a new perspective of public relations. The combination of online and offline public relations activities made many students feel refreshing. One after another, the students came up with deep thinking and original questions.
The extensive application of public relations skills in social welfare, business practice and other industries made students ponder deeply, and witness how public relations are coordinated and applied in real practice, which broadened their horizons. The one-day visit to Hong Kong ended with the students' tireless discussion.
