On 16th April,2021, UIC organized the injection of COVID-19 vaccines for foreign staff and employees from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

Altogether eight students from Applied Translation Studies programme worked as voluntary interpreters for the event. Their efforts were widely appreciated by both doctors and staff.

Dr. Katharina Yu, Director of International Development Office from Germany, was deeply satisfied with the quality of interpreting. She added that more global citizens should be vaccinized for the recovery of global communication.
