ATS programme aims to offer students an education in translation studies to broaden the intellectual and critical skills required to learn across disciplines. Pursuing a higher degree in translation studies or other language- and communication-related academic disciplines in China and/or overseas is highly possible. Career Development

ATS trains students to become professional translators and interpreters, who can work in the translation industry or language service agencies in general. Yet, students’ career paths are not limited to translation and interpreting. Any language- and communication-related professions, such as in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, foreign companies and transnational corporations, are options for ATS graduates. Other possible professions include but not limited to:
