we are happy to announce a

Sino - German design competition

The aim of the competition is to promote Sino - German cooperation and understanding. To this end, we are calling for designs that highlight the connections between China and Germany, to be printed on reusable masks.

The top three designs will be awarded prizes from the German Consulate in Guangzhou, and will have their designs printed on reusable facemasks. The Consulate will also provide presents to all participants.

Both individual and team participation is possible. Ideally, we are looking for teams of design students and students who studied either German language or culture, or who are part of UIC's German club.

Design Criteria:

- Logo / design will be printed on reusable masks.

- Logo / design should highlight connections between China and Germany.

- Size should not exceed 17.5*9.5 cm.

- Image resolution is NO less than 300 dpi.

- The designs will be judged by a professional panel. Prizes / presents will be presented in September 2021.
