On the Theme "Connectivity and Communication"

Fittingly for the period in which it was produced, the theme of Elsewhere, issue three is communication and connectivity. As production began under the pall of the coronavirus outbreak, both the biological communication of the virus around the world and the resulting reconfiguration of informational communication within the ELLS programme were foremost in our minds. Taking place across a variety of web-based platforms, the production of the first digital version of issue three showed our student-editors’ capacity to use technology to stay connected and, ultimately, bring this year’s issue of Elsewhere to print.
